In any creative community, it is important to foster the young talent of tomorrow. So in the spirit of creativity, we invite the brilliant young minds of tomorrow to enter into a competition, so that we may critique, reward and fervently mock those brave enough to apply.
Open Submissions
Limit 3 ideas (campaigns count as one idea) per person. A campaign can have multiple pieces beyond print but cannot have more than 5 pieces total. Media includes: Print, Out-of-home, Broadcast, On-line, Relationship/direct marketing, Point-of-sale, Promotion, Sponsorship, Presence/guerilla. Deadline is July 31, 2008. All work must be entered by this date.
Real Brief Competition
Firestone, the company whose tires those of you who can afford cars may drive on (and those of you who can’t afford anything may eat), has supplied a creative brief which is available for you to download. Learn it, live it, love it (not in public). Good luck.

Only complete entries will be judged. Individuals can enter as many campaigns as they want.
The Winner will receive a $2,500 cash prize from Bridgestone Firestone.
Eligibility
All student submissions must be created while the individual is a student and done within the last 2 years. Work from interns is accepted as long as they are not a paid Jr Copywriter or Jr Art Director.
Each ad should be in the required media format specified in the submission requirements. An entry label should be placed on each piece. Video pieces should be submitted online as well.
Entry Fee
$20 per entry for a single piece or campaign. You can pay by credit card, or checks-payable to the Chicago Advertising Federation. Cash is NOT accepted. You can pay online at chicagocreativeclub.com.
Work must be uploaded to the site and entry fees paid for at that time. If you cannot pay by credit card then you must prepay by sending a check to the following:
